Maraming salamat sa mga tumulong sa pagsali ko at ng aking org sa kompetisyon na ito. Aminado akong nahirapan ako para lamang ipagpatuloy ang  pagsali dito. Pero sana naman worth it lahat ng hirap ko at ng mg taong naniwala sa akin at sa proyekto na ito. Marami akong nakilalang tao sa proseso ng paggawa. Masaya. Mahirap. Nakakinis. Nakakaiyak. An yong Han Seo!

We’re on our second to the last shooting day tomorrow and we will be able to finish a full length digital film entitled Tropical Manila, directed  by a Korean director Sang Woo Lee. It has a mix of Korean and local actors. Sang Woo Lee has a cameo role played as Hwee-Soo. We have a skeleton crew,minimal budget (as usual) with 120 sequences, we hopefully finish within 12 days because i still have so many things to do for my school stuff: like my media gender final paper, concept paper and script for my scriptwriting class and a thesis proposal for my F201.

Haggard na ko grabe. At nagkasakit pa ko…Anyway we hired RSVP for the lighting equipment, camera accesories and used Canon XHA1 HDV 1080i ( which is owned by the director where he brought from Korea) This is actually great because it lessen the camera rent expense ( a concern for the Producer not me).

I’m doing a volunteer job as a Script Continuity/ Supervisor ( just allowance ) for the Love, experience and for my good friend Rik who invited me to help him for this project. He worked full time for this and worked as a Production Designer. I feel grateful to him because he helped me before in my HBE music video shoot for free and for the Love of it and Me! eheh

I just hope that everything will turn out good in this project…Aja!

HBEGGZ first music video will have a premiere screening on Mar. 5,2007, Tuesday, 7pm onwards, GWEILOS EASTWOOD CITY LIBIS near Heaven and Eggs. I will soon upload this video sa Youtube, Multiply, Myspace, Team41.proboards.com at ofcourse here in Friendster. 

I feel blessed, guided and grateful for all the things that has been happening in my life this 2007. Even until now I still can’t believe that this  project really did happen. The idea still feels like a dream and surprisingly surreal. It’s like an answered prayer from up above. Just the same, I still wanna endlessly thank all the people who has been instrumental for making this project possible. After months of pre-production of Hardboiledeggz first music video GRACE, the video shoot was finally over and I’m now in the editing stage.It was held last Feb.19, 2007 in the location St.Peter Parish Commonwealth Ave. This music video is my midterm requirement for my F112 (Language of Film and Grammar) class under Prof.Lyle Sacris. 

With the full support of Ann Angala HBEggz Manager, Una Zipagan HBEggz Road Manager, from the band members itself, Rohan Rimando (vocals), Sep Navalta (drummer), Emil Villanueva (bassist), Rodel Hufana (guitarist), Ron Aldover Red Horse Beer Brand Marketing Assistant, San Miguel Beer, CINEFORCE, to my friends Albert Banzon  as my DOP, Rik as my PD, Charmaine as my AD,Laisa for re-editing the video, Nathan as my editor, Jose for my storyboard, Roger for accompanying me, to all my PA’s,Jesse, Louise,David,Jane a lot more.

hi guys! Just want to share with all of you guys my first published work on Anthem Magazine, Nov. 2006 issue about a new band called Hardboiledeggz. Grab a copy now!

"Dropped out, burned up, turn my way back from the day." I was contemplating the lyrics of Edwin McCain’s song I’ll Be.

I’m afraid to believe that he’s in a way true. It just seems that when we fall in love, we change consciously or subconsciously for the one we love and yet one way or another still ends up with insurmountable pain. 

Love is the slowest form of suicide yet we still hang on to it!

Weeks before quitting my job last May, I got a confirmation letter from UP Diliman stating that I was officially admitted to the College of Masscom, for a masteral program for Media Studies.

I’m back at school and being a student again. While trying to let go of the brouhaha of my last job, I finally found a new environment, my new sanctuary, new home, UP Diliman.

But things have not been all that easy at first. It took me one semester to really adjust and adopt the so-called UP life. I had difficulty finding the buildings; familiarize the ikot and toki jeepney route and the very much different enrollment procedure compared to my past school.

Things went to a different turn when I got hold of my reading lists, report schedule, course requirements etc that’s the only time I took UP seriously.

Reality slapped me in the face, just like that. There have been moments when I ask myself, why do I have to go through this process again? But after awhile, I immediately get back to my senses. As others commented, that it’s just a waste of time nor expensive or even possibly useless in the future. When I decide to be a plain housewife or being a career woman either in advertising or sales.

Though sometimes I think what they say can be true, but deep down I know that I’m doing myself a favor of taking in-charge of my life of doing things that could really make me happy and contented.

Even if I don’t reach the end goal, I’m proud to say that I made steps of reaching anything that I want to be in life. I don’t want to get married or grow old regretting the things I should have done and forever be thinking what might have been.
